Washington state is known for an abundance of great features such as our National Parks, pop culture references, and food scene. If you’re a WA native, you also know that our beer culture is top tier with a variety of different local breweries and festivals to experience. At ACT 3 Catering, we take advantage of our great local breweries by including them on our beer menu for clients to select for their special occasion or corporate/social events. To celebrate National American Beer Day, we want to highlight some of our favorite local breweries that we think everyone has to add to their beer bucket list.

First on our list is Georgetown Brewing Company located in Georgetown, WA just south of Seattle. Having started out in 2002, they have since then grown to be the largest independent brewery in Washington state offering a wide selection of beers as well as tastings and a growler program. Looking to stock up your fridge or hosting a party? You can grab cases or kegs of your favorite beer directly on their website.
Our personal favorites: Bodhizafa IPA and Johnny Utah Pale Ale.

Next on our list is Dru Bru with locations in Snoqualmie Pass and Cle Elum. Inspired by German heritage, they offer a variety of German style beer as well as other favorites such as IPA's and Ciders (WA grown!). With over 30 different selections, there is truly something for everyone. If you're looking for an experience filled with good beer, good food, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Northwest, we highly recommend stopping by one of Dru Bru's taproom locations.
Our personal favorites: Pilsner German-Style Light Lager and Hefeweizen Bavarian-Style Wheat Ale.
